چکیده
Abstract The mechanical behaviours of microalloyed and low-carbon steels under strain reversal were modelled based on the average dislocation density taking into account its allocation between cell walls interiors. proposed model reflects effects dislocations displacement, generation new their annihilation during metal-forming processes. back stress is assumed as one internal variables. value initial was calculated using two different computational methods, i.e. first tensor second gradient model. methods calculating subjected to a comparative analysis. For microstructural analysis, high-resolution electron backscatter diffraction (EBSD) microscopy utilized. calculation results compared with forward/reverse torsion tests. As result, good effectiveness applied methodology demonstrated. Finally, analysis distributions an effect path change performed.

Softening and Hardening of Yield Stress by Hydrogen-Solute Interactions
Hydrogen atoms have a wide variety of effects on the mechanical performance of metals, and the underlying mechanisms associated with effects on plastic flow and embrittlement remain to be discovered or validated. Here, the reduction in the plastic flow stress (softening) due to hydrogen atoms in solute-strengthened metals, previously proposed by Sofronis et al., is demonstrated at the atomistic...
متن کاملMicrostructure Development and Hardening during High Pressure Torsion of Commercially Pure Aluminium: Strain Reversal Experiments and a Dislocation Based Model
The effect of strain reversal on hardening due to high pressure torsion (HPT) was investigated using commercially pure aluminium. Hardening is lower for cyclic HPT (c-HPT) as compared to monotonic HPT (m-HPT). When using a cycle consisting of a rotation of 90° per half cycle, there is only a small increase in hardness if the total amount of turns is increased from 1 to 16. Single reversal HPT (...

15 صفحه اولDislocation nucleation and work hardening in anti-plane constrained shear
The paper aims at studying the dislocation nucleation, the corresponding work hardening and the influence of resistance to the dislocation motion within the framework of continuum theory of dislocations. We consider an anti-plane constrained shear problem which admits an analytical solution. The interesting features of this solution are the energy and dissipation thresholds for dislocation nucl...
متن کاملThe Anneal Hardening and Deformation Softening Behaviors of Nanocrystalline Cu-Zn Alloys
The changes in the mechanical properties and microstructure of nanocrystalline Cu-Zn alloys deformed by cryorolling during low temperature annealing and the post-process deformation were studied. The deformed Cu-Zn alloys exhibited uncommon anneal hardening and deformation softening behaviors. The degree of anneal hardening and deformation softening increased with the addition of the solute ato...
